Challenge
The challenge for the customer was to reserve electric vehicles via a platform before the market launch. To increase engagement, interested parties had to pay a deposit, which was then transferred to the independent car dealers in Switzerland via an online payment system. The difficulty lay in the fact that the dealers neither had online payment options nor were they able to use an existing platform.

Method
The first step was to find a suitable platform solution that could be seamlessly integrated into the existing IT structure. In addition, a reliable online payment provider had to be identified that was scalable and adaptable. Change management was planned and implemented with great care, as merchants tended to be conservative and reluctant to adopt new technologies. Finally, the market launch was successfully implemented in close cooperation with the marketing department and the head office.

Impact
Thanks to the platform, numerous customers could be bound to the car manufacturer even before the market launch of the important electric vehicle. It showed how technology and innovation can have a real impact. Dealers are now more open to new innovations and the momentum has been used in numerous other projects even after the end of the expert's collaboration with the automotive group.
